Nate Tomczyk

Nate's graduate research at the University of Georgia focused on interactions between dissolved organic carbon (DOC) and trace metals. He conducted experiments  and modelling exercises to elucidate the importance of these interactions on trophic ecology and on the condition of streams and rivers in the US. His work examined how differences in the composition of DOC associated with different land uses alters the fate and bioavailability of metals.

Nate is now a technician in the Rosemond Lab at UGA.
